EP ADVANCE LAB

ENERPLASTICS ADVANCE LAB

At EnerPlastics, research and development receive as much attention as manufacturing and distribution, because we believe in constant evolving and growth. The production lines of the company are backed by state of the art testing and controlling facilities in a laboratory equipped for research and development work.

EnerPlastics Advance Lab is the first facility in the plastics field in UAE to be equipped with such highly sophisticated equipment. Our Advance Lab focuses mainly on the research and development of specialized products such as our Oxo-Biodegradable masterbatch, which is now commercially supplied in both local and international markets.

EnerPlastics Advance Laboratory is ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certified by the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) in 2013 and since October 2016 it’s accreditation has been granted by the Gulf Accreditation Council (GAC) of GCC Accreditation Center. Enerplastics Advance Lab Accreditation scope includes testing of Physical and Chemical characterization, Thermal Properties and Weathering tests on polymers & plastics.

It is the only ISO/IEC 17025:2005 certified laboratory for testing plastics in the MENA region, which can also carry out independent polymer testing acceptable to international bodies.

Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FTIR)

A Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer, abbreviated as FTIR, can generate an infrared spectral scan of samples that absorb infrared light. FTIR is the first step in identifying a polymer.

X-ray Fluorescence spectrometry

XRF (X-ray fluorescence spectrometry) is a non-destructive analytical technique used to identify and determine the concentrations of elements present in powders, granules, films, pellets and beads.

Tensile Testing

Tensile tests measure the force required to break a plastic sample specimen and the extent to which the specimen stretches or elongates to that breaking point. Tensile tests produce stress-strain ..

icon

COF Testing

Coefficient of friction (COF) testing is used to determine the frictional characteristics of a plastic film and sheeting. It is generally determined to the ease by which two surfaces slide against each other.

icon

UV Weatherometer

The UV chamber simulates the effect of UV with fluorescent ultraviolet (UV) lamps, while rain is simulated by the condensation of humidity. In the solar spectrum UV light represents roughly 5% ..

icon

Thermal Analysis Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC)

Differential scanning calorimetric or DSC is a thermo analytical technique in which the difference in the amount of heat required to increase the temperature of a sample and reference is measured as a function of temperature.

icon

Spectrophotometer

Spectrophotometer is an instrument for physical analysis which provides wavelength-by-wavelength spectral analysis of the reflecting and/or transmitting properties of the object without..

icon

Microscopy Analysis

Microscopic analysis is helps to fully understand microstructure and product property relationships. Microscopy techniques are used to produce visible images of polymer microstructures or details that are..

icon

SEPAP12/24

SEPAP is used to examine the photo degradation mechanisms of polymeric formulations in laboratory conditions and to monitor material characteristics such as Mechanical properties..
